June 2019 – GIPH

The round table “Innovations in the Space Industry” was held on June 4 in the Moscow office of ASI “Co-Working Center “Boiling Point”. Its central event was a speech by the representative of the FSUE “RRC “Applied Chemistry” (GIPH) Nikolai Prokhorov, who presented the RRC’s developments in the field of rocket fuels – methane fuel and “Green” fuel. During his speech, Nikolai Prokhorov told the facts from the history of GIPH and told about the company’s plans to participate in the development of a new super-heavy rocket designed for interplanetary flights.

In addition, the event was attended by representatives of the National University MAI, JSC “NPO named after S. A. Lavochkin” and the “OUR SKY” Foundation.

The round table was held as part of the business program for celebrating the 100th anniversary of GIPH.

In celebration of the Anniversary of GIPH may 30-31, 2019 in Saint-Petersburg scientific center of Russian Academy of Sciences, was organized by FSUE “RRC “Applied Chemistry” (GIPH) all-Russian scientific-technical conference “High Technologies and Prospects of Application of Organofluorine Products”.

The Conference was attended by more than a hundred people, including employees of the FSUE RRC “Applied Chemistry” (GIPH), representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, leading enterprises and organizations of the chemical industry. The conference made it possible to update a wide range of problems in the national chemical industry and science, identify ways to resolve them, and give a new impetus to the development of innovative technologies and import substitution.

The conference materials (articles) will be published in the journal “Chemical Industry”, which is part of the chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) database. The journal “Chemical Industry” has been published since 1924 for many years, it unites specialists working in the chemical industry and chemical scientists.
